Geo. Hows

Br. of Robert a boy; embarked 31 Oct. 1734; arrived in the Georgia Colony 28 Dec. 1734;

" A boy' probably means under 16 years old

Robert Hows

Sawyer.

Embarked 24 Jan. 1732-3; arrived in the Georgia Colony 16 May 1733.

Lot 66 in Savannah.

He went to England & surrendered his grant, to be applied to the use of an orphan house; but returned to Georgia with Mr. Whitfeild. Quitted by leave Feb. 1738-9 but returned.

It is highly likely that Robert is also related to Henry Hows who came over on the same boat and had the lot next to his (#67). The record does not state this and Henry died 16 Sept. 1733.

Anne

Dead 3 Oct. 1733.

Mary Hows

Lot 67 in Savannah. Took possession of his lot 21 Dec. 1733.

Dead 16 Sept. 1733 [sic].

It is highly likely that Henry is also related to Robert Hows who came over on the same boat and had the lot next to his (#66). The record does not state this, however.

The 2nd entry concerning his daughter Anne is interesting and I don't quite know what to make of it:
Daughter of Robert, successor to Henry. Born in Georgia 3 Oct. 1733. Lot 67 in Savannah.

Anne Hows
