John Noble
Carpenter; embarked 6 Nov. 1732; arrived in the Georgia Colony 1 Feb. 1732-3; lot 41 in Savannah. Employed to survey the peoples lots, but removed for negligence. He took possession of this lot 21 Dec. 1733 and afterwards improved land at some distance from the town. He was , I think, a constable also, and officer for executing the Rum act.
He now resides mostly at his new plantation abt 10 miles from Savannah. On 21 Ot. 1738, Mr. Oglethorpe removed him from being surveyor and first Constable, but afterwards gave him the command of the Narrows. In the Colny the end of the year 1746.

Peter Joubert
Broker; embarked 6 Aug. 1735; arrived in the Georgia Colony 27 Nov. 1735; lot 231 in Savannah. An idle fellow, & on shutting up the Publick stores deserted the Colony none knows where. On 16 Jan. 1735-6 he had leave to dispose of his Townlot, and take a country one of 150 acres, but I can't find when a grant was made him. In July 1738 he was an inmate in Savannah on lot 232. Quitted Jan. 1738-9; returned.
