Lot 93 in Savannh. He went to Carolina to seek work, but returned, and in July 1740 worked at the orphan house.

Saml. Mercer

Tanner; embarked 15 June 1733; arrived in the Georgia Colony 29 Aug, 1733. Lot 99 in Savannah. His 1st wife dying, he married Jane the widow of Saml. Parker 6 May 1734, and lives on her lot when in town, but took land up in the country tho he has no grant of it. In 1736 he cultivated 5 acres, from 2 of which he had 25 bushels of Indian corn, the other 3 being under pease were destroyed by deer; he also split 6000 pine trees on this lot. Made 2nd Constable 24 Oct. 1738.
