Arrived about 1736/7 in the Georgia Colony. Settled at Highgate and is a good improver. He married the sister of Simon Ruviere (Rouviere).

Married to David Hender at Savannah 25 March 1737.
Steven Mumford or Montfort
There are two records on this individual. One is with the record on his wife. The other is for a Steven Montfort which states the following:
Arrived in the Georgia Colony 1734.
Settled at Highgate about 5 years and planted 12 acres.
He married the widow Ruviere, whose husband Paul Ruviere died 2 Sept. 1734.

He and his family Grisons. He latterly was employed in the publick garden and had the chief care of it. His time being expired, he quitted the Colony with his family to return to his own country and arrived in London March 1739/40 but on the 5th Oct. 1741 was, at his desire, sent back with his son Anthony, 9 years old, & daughter Maria Catherine, 11 years old.
Quitted Dec. 1739 but returned 2 Dec 1741

Settled on a grant S.E. of Hampstead.
A record indicates that Hans Geo. Stelli is his Son in Law. This means his wife was married to a "Stelli" before marring him. Since Hans Geo. was born about 1719, there is the implication that Ana Schad is actually the child of "Stelli". Perhaps all of the children are "Stellis".
