Embarked 6 Nov. 1732; arrived in the Georgia Colony 1 Feb. 1732-3. On the 1st ship load of Georgia colonists, The Charity.

Lot 21 in Savannah. Possessed of his lot 21 Dec. 1733, and had felled, fenced, & cleared 4 acres, which, by his sickness, were neglected. He left the Colony 29 July 1740 being superannuated and past labour.

Quitted 1740.

27 April 1737 he had a grant of 500 acres.

He went over to Secretary of the Province into which office he was sworn 27 April 1737. The same day his grant was sealed.

In the Colony the end of the year 1746.

From the record of Benedict Ball, we find that he is the SOn in Law of Will.Stephens Esq.. Thus William's wife's was previously married to someone named "Ball"

Hired & carried at Capt. Thomas the owners risk; but the Planters not being able to pay for such servant, Mr. Causton took him as on account of the Trust without orders, & so certified, which made us lyable.

An invalid at Darien May 6, 1741.
