Lot 170 in Savannah. His lot was granted to him in 1736.

Cost in auction of 50£ sterling dept due to James Muier for 2 years rent 7 July 1737.

A factious man, he went to Carolina for fear of the Spaniards 30 Aug. 1740.

Lot 71 in Savannah.

An industrious potter and had encouragement from the Trustees to carry on his business. The lot belonged formerly to Francis Lynch who ran away for dept. In 1740, he resigned the place of Constable and turned an outragious factioner.

Went to Carolina for fear of the Spaniards in 1740.

Gentleman.

Arrived in the Georgia Colony 1 Aug. 1734.

Fined 1.0.0 for selling rum 17 July 1735. Convicted of not supplying his servants with necessities 21 Oct. 1735.

A lot of 500 acres was granted him 1 Aug. 1733 but not set out till June 1737.

In Oct. 1738, Col. Oglethorpe lent him, on the Trustee's acct., 100£ to enable him to set up a boat to furnish provisions cheap to the Colony.

In 1740 took a lot in Frederica by marrige to Capt. Dunbar's sister. Lot 3S. in Frederica.

Capt. George Dunbar

He had a grant of 500 acres which he took up at Josephstown but afterwards quitted to settle at Darien. Now a Lieut. in Oglethorpe's Regiment.

Run away to Carolina Aug. 1742.

Lot 180 in Savannah. His lot swamp overflowed. Let to him in 1736.

Left the Colony after the Spanish invasion of Georgia 1742. He went to Carolina in Aug. 1742.

The record is for the "2 months old; son of Tho. Ellig. Born in Georgia; dead 27 Sept. 1742.

There is no Thomas Ellig in the records other than this mention of his son. There is a Tho. Ellis & a Tho. Elliot. Ellis would appear to be the more likely choice.

John Fallowfield

Arrived 15 Feb. 1733-4.

Lot 136 in Savannah.

He married about March 1734/5, but I know not who.

Fined for defamation four pence 28 July 1735.

In 1736 he had fully improved 15 acres from whence he had 95 bushels of Indian corn, 40 of potatoes, & 22 of rice. He let his greatest house and lived much at a plantation some miles in the country.

Succeeded 1st Constable on Noble Jones removal 24 Oct. 1738.

Naval Officer 3 Feb. 1738/9 and on 30 May 1739 made 3rd bailif of Savannah in Robert Gilbert's room.

Turned a violent malcontent in 1740.

Quitted to Carolina in 1742. Possible to Charlestown (see record entry for daughter Sarah)
