Embarked 20 Oct. 1735; arrived in the Georgia Colony 10 Jan. 1735-6.

Gentleman.

Chief of Darien and Keeper of the Store at Darien in 1739.

Taken prisoner at Moosa in 1740 and now (Nov. 1741.) a prisoner in Spain where, if he dies, he will leave a widow and 6 children in Darien. At the Seige of Augustine, Col. Oglethorpe made him Capt. of the Highland Company.

(Notice the record mentions 6 children but only 5 are listed so apparently one of the children born in Georgia but with no parents indicated is his.)
