Notes

Armenius Willmer Clark

Armenius was a workman in a "roll" mill (metal, paper, bakery?). Maybe this was the source of the family rumor that someone once owned a bakery shop. In 1880, he was still working in the "roll"mill.

The children must have been pretty well grown when he got a job as a 'Car Inspector' on the Pennsylvania Rail Road and began commuting back and forth between Northeast and Philadelphia, PA.

After he died (no death certificate has been found yet) all the children were grown. Lewis Allen was working on the R.R. in Philly and persuaded his mother to come to Philly and run a boarding house for the R.R. people. So the whole family moved to Philadelphia, PA.
