Selected Families and Individuals
Notes
James Scott
James Scott (1732-99) commanded a company in the Virginia Line. He was born in
Caroline County, Va.; moved to South Carolina, where he died.
Wright Sherrod
1880 Emanuel Co, GA Federal Census
Wright's name is mis-spelt 'Right'. He is listed as 5years old and lives with father John D.(26), mother Sarah(26), andsister Mary(2)
1900 Emanuel Co, GA Federal Census
Wright(24) lives with John Drew(34), Mary(22)(John'swife), and their son, Benjamin(2 mo). Wright is listed as 'brother' so Mary must be his sister. Thus, Mary married John Drew in 1894.
Wright is not a common name. I feel theer must be a connection between the parents of this Wright Sherrod and Wright Sherrard of the previous generation IRN 1977.

Rachel Sherrod
The fact of Rachels being the daughter of George is an inference because of the grouping at the cemetery. It could be wrong.
