John Morgan Capt.

John Morgan moved to New Preston, Connectitcut in 1692 where he died in 1712. He was a prominent man and served as Indian commissioner or adviser. He was deputy to the general court from New London in 1689-90, and from Preston, CT, in 1693-94. He removed to Preston about 1692. The probate of the will was appealed from, as he made no mention of his son Joseph, who appeared as a party in the proceedings. [Morgans, Wm andSons.FBK.FTW]

Annie(31) is a widow with children Thelma(10), DissieMae(8), Beatna?(6), Annie O.(3). There is also a hired hand named Sidney(23). From this we can deduce that Annie marred about 1909 andthat her husband died between 1917 and 1920.
