Thomas Sherrod

Martha and Charity are daughters of Thomas Sherrod of N.C. Have some info to share; would like to know more. Thomas born 1730 in NC, died 28 Nov 1818 in Franklyn Co., NC, fought in Amer. Rev. Martha was born 1763 in NC, died 1838 in Marshall Co., TN, married to John Weaver of Lorraine, France, also a veteran of Amer. Rev. Had 5 children. Charity (no birth or death dates) married William Richards. Know very little else about her. Betty ___________________________________________

My 4th great grandmother was Elizabeth (Jordan) Newby, Sherrod. She was a step mother to Martha and Charity Sherrod. Elizabeth married Thomas Sherrod ca 1777. I have both wills of Thomas and Elizabeth. I have a group sheet that I obtained back in 1983 showing that Thomas married a lady by the last name of Rouseau. I later found mention in a deed tht his wife was named Jean. Do you have any info on Thomas's wives? I do have a list of Thomas and 1st wife's children. Also, Thomas is a brother to my 5th great grandfather, William Sherrod. My Sherrod line goes as such: (beginning with the first known) John sherrard and ____Parnell.
