Lewis Lanier
Moved to Bullock County, GA. Settled in an area known as Lotts Creek. He was a Cornet in the Revolution. He was caught in a flash flood and drowned while returning from a visit with his brother just across Oceechee River (Minutes of Screven County, Georgia and the Georgia Gazette)
