Martin Luther Sherrod

Posted to the Sherrod Family Genealogy Forum by Weldon Martin Sherrod:
Martin Luther Sherrod, b. 1875, m. Linnie Marr Durden in Edge, Brazos County Texas, then moved to Jones County in 1901 and later to Stonewall County, Peacock, Texas around 1905, they had 8 children, 5 boys and 3 girls. He died in 1922 and is buried in Double Mountain Cemetery, there in Stonewall County along with his eldest son Glen Martin Sherrod, who was my father. I am looking for the father of Martin Luther Sherrod, no family records or memories of his family, any help or suggestion appreciated.

also:
Phillip, I see a lot of reference to your success in geneaology roots and am wondering if you have published your geneaology? And if so, would you be willing to sell me a copy or share some of the info. I just don't know where to go from my grandfather, Martin Luther Sherrod, b. 1875, d.1922, and no one in the family seems to know anything about the his family. He was married in Edge, Brazos County, Texas in 1900 and lived in Jones County for a short while before going to Peacock, Stonewall County where he died in 1922 and is buried there in the Double Mountain Cemetery along with my father Glen Martin Sherrod who died Jan. 7, 1947.
