George Hughes

Rev. George Hughes, the forebearer of our branch of the Hughes family,was am ong a group of settlers to the New World in 1646. George and hiswife, Ann, had a plantation of 22 acres in York County, VA. In 1704 theyowned 250 acre s in James City, Berkley County.
