Winfield(35) and Laura(33) are living in Bulloch Cty., GAwith children James(10), Mary(8), Sammie(4), and 'Baby'(1). Laura hashad four children of whom all are living.
Winfield(50) and Laura(37) have now been married for 29years. They have had ten children one of whom died. Living with themnow are: James O.(20), Maud(18), George P.(14), Emma J.(13),Willie(11), Liddie(7), Johnnie A.(6), Mary(5), and Lillie M.(3). Theylive next to the families of Charles M. Smith and Brooks W. Harvey.The dead child must have died at birth or shortly after. Examinationof the birth dates of the other children show a gap between Mary andGeorge and another gap between Willie and Liddie.

On the census, willie's age is given as 11, but he does not show up on the 1900 census, so he must have been born after it was taken. Probably the later half of 1900.

H.P.(59) and Charlotte(51) now have only Bennie P.(22) andRufus S.(20) at home.
On the 1900 census, Homer's middle initial is 'B' but thatcould easily be confused with 'P'. He lives next door to Emel-- Shuman(b. July 1838) who is alone. Could this be his mother?
I don't find Homer on the Bryan Cty. census of 1870 or1880 so he may have been living in Effingham or another county. On the1870 Effingham Cty., GA census there are two "H." male children of G &B Shuman born in 1854 and 1856 respectively. They are IRN #'s 2006 and2007. The latter would appear to be a possibility.

On the 1880 census, its Cris H. but this could be acorruption of Chris or Christopher.

According to the 1900 census, Janie says she has had onechild and it died. Since they had only been married a year, the childmust have died at birth or shortly thereafter.

We have here a John N.(48) now married to AnnieStrickland. Strickland is not her maiden name as she has children bythat name indicating that she married a Strickland. Those children areEda Mae(16), Calace(13), and Rosalee(8).

Elena is 15 years older that John. Kind of unusual. On the1900 census she says she has had 3 children and all are living. Sheand John have been married 15 years.

The 1900 census says Willie but this could be a nick namefor William.
