WILLIAM BIVINS, 3/5/1828:
Wife: Polly. Son: Martin Luther Bivins, negro woman, Caroline. All my land in 5th District of
Wilkinson Co., 800 acres, to be sold and proceeds given to son, Martin Luther Bivins, guardian,
for the purpose of supporting him and his small negroes and his education. Wife, Polly, one
negro woman, Susan. Dau-in-law: Susan, widow of John Bivins, two negroes, a man, Simon and
woman, Peggy. Grson: William Bivins, son of John Bivins, decd, 202 ½ acres in Troup Co., Lot
57 in 7th Dist. Grson: Appleton Bivins, son of Jonathan Bivins, land in Carroll Co. in 11th
District, Lot No. 98. Dau: Ellifair English, negro girl, Mary. Dau: Sallie Donnelly, negro girl,
Julia. Dau: Abigail Barker. My two negro men, Mercer and Lewis to the highest bidders. Wife,
