James L. Sherrod
The book Ga. Buriels by J.H. Austin shows a James L.Sherrod buried in Summerton City Cemetery, Emanuel Cty., Ga. and bornin 1845. This is the only James Sherrod in Emanuel Cty, that appearsto fit closely and in addition, his brother Noah is buried in the samecemetery. In all likelyhood, one of the other women listed in thecemetery is his wife.
