George Robert Hendry

Descendant Mary Strickland Exley provided data on this family group including the 2nd marriage for Frances Sikes from whom she descends. She believes the correct name for George was George Robert, born 1863 and son of George Walter and Faithy Ann McGillis. The Shuman Family Genealogy & Allied Families agrees with her. Renee Hendry believes all these children and Mary Elizabeth Tuten belong to George TRACY Hendry b. 1879

William Sherrod

My William M. Sherrod was born July 22, 1807 somewhere in NC and married Sophie King Marsh a widow in Jefferson County, GA on December 8, 1833. They moved to Brooks County GA in 1860 Census and to Thomas County, GA for 1870 and 1880 Census. As far as I know he only lived in these places until his death June 27, 1885. He is buried in Lebanon Cemetery near Pavo, GA.
