This is an extrapolation based on the appearance of Annieon the 1920 census of Emanuel Cty., GA. Annie(31) is a widow withchildren Thelma(10), Dissie Mae(8), Beatna?(6), Annie O.(3). There isalso a hired hand named Sidney(23). From this we can deduce that Anniemarred about 1909 and that her husband died between 1917 and 1920.

On the 1920 census of Emanuel Cty., GA. Joe H.(51) andLena(36) have apparently been married for about seven years and havehad three children: Jeuell(6), Adeline(4), and Eloise(1 & 2/12). alsoliving with them are Rif Watkins(15) and Birdie Watkins(16) who arelisted as son and daughter also. This would imply that Lena waspreviously married to a gentleman named Watkins. From her age, it isunlikely that she had a child older than Birdie, so she probablymarried Mr. Watkins about 1903 and from Rif's age we can conclude thatMr. Watlins (most likely) died around 1905 to 1907. Jeuell's age tellsus that Lena probably married Joe about 1913.

Mrs. Walser was born in Alanreed. She married Clifford Walser.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Corse of Dumas; a sister, Jeane
Autry of Pampa; two brothers, Bob Sherrod of McLean and Joe Ed Sherrod
of Dallas; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several
nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be to Wheeler Church of Christ or
Memorial Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dumas.
